Earning Litecoin on your mobile phone: Free Litecoin-Faucet LTC Litoshi - Zelts, is it the real deal?
This
is not a sponsored post. Tl;dr at the end of the article.
Is it possible to “earn” cryptocurrency through an app on
your mobile device? Yes, there are ways, many of which are dubious. However,
there is one such app that puts its money where its mouth is, and that is Hevoparmm
Corp.’s Free Litecoin-Faucet LTC Litoshi - Zelts. You might not get much, and some
may argue it’s not worth the effort, but one thing’s for sure, they do deliver.
The Process
The Free Litecoin- Faucet LTC Litoshi is just one of the
crypto- “generating” apps Hevoparmm Corp. has available on Google Play, and it
is the one we are looking at today. It is a free to download app that allows
users to earn Lits (in-app currency) that you may exchange for Litecoins/LTC
which Hevoparmm Corp. will deposit into your Coinbase account. It is simple and
easy to use, but it is also infested with ads.
A typical session (assuming you visit the app every 30 mins)
will likely see you do 2 things:
1) Claim Lits. You may hit the ‘Get Lits’ button every 30 mins
for 600 Lits.
2) Play game. A multiple-choice spot-the-next-in-sequence
string of numbers exercise that rewards 150 Lits with each right answer. There is
a set of 5 questions in this activity and it is repeatable every 15 mins.
Repeat these for as much as possible until you have
accumulated 25,500 Lits. At which point, you will want to download the
companion app (another free to download application) called the Zelts App
Manager. This app will allow you to cash out your Lits for Litecoin. The
process involves you submitting your Coinbase registered email address and within
48 hours, Coinbase should receive the top up. This, I am glad to report, works,
and that I’ve have had no trouble turning Lits into Litecoin. The real question
should be, is it worth your while?
You are required to input your Coinbase registered email |
Worth the Trouble?
This depends on how engaged you are with your time and if
putting 30mins aside a day (cumulative of the day’s play sessions) is worth the
few cents this app returns in Litecoin. If your answer to that is not very and
yes, then this app is one to have on your phone. Otherwise, I would be hard-pressed
to recommend this on 2 accounts:
1) A 30-min a day commitment is surely worth more than
US$0.02, and yes, that is approximately how much I’ve been making per day on
average.
2) For the amount of ads you’re watching, you are getting
back very poor value. Approximating from Unity ads1, the CPM, or
cost per 1,000 impressions, yields at least US$6.00 for the developer. Each
session (assuming you Get Lits and Play Game) will see you being served between
8 and 10 ads. This means by the time you are ready to cash out 25,500 Lits, you
would have already made the developer US$0.91, which really makes your take-home
of US$0.02 Litecoin look extremely pathetic.
On the Flip Side (Argument for)
If resources idling is something that keeps you up at night,
then maybe, just maybe, Free Litecoin- Faucet LTC Litoshi makes sense becase
US$0.02 made is better than none, am I right? If you are invested in crypto but
perhaps have always been unsure about Litecoin, then perhaps, this is the way
to get your feet wet, even if it is a very inefficient way of doing so.
TL;DR
Yes, you can earn cryptocurrencies online and one sure way
(to earn Litecoins) is through Free Litecoin- Faucet LTC Litoshi. Is it worth
your while? No. But if you want cryptocurrencies without buying, any and you
have a minute to spare every hour or so, this app may just be worth checking
out. It will not take you to the moon, but it can give you a “riskless” sense
of owning crypto. Do also note that you will need a Coinbase account for this
to work.
