Product Review: VR BOX 2.0 3D Virtual Reality Glasses

The VR Box 2.0 is an entry level VR goggle set, and at S$8.90 you cannot level any criticism at it, especially if it does its job, or can you? Not Samsung Gear VR, but who cares? If you are considering the VR Box, you’re probably not serious about virtual reality – which is fine. The VR Box 2.0 is just a placeholder till your enthusiasm for VR builds into something more substantial. For all intents and purposes, the VR Box 2.0 is a very adequate plaything for the novice hobbyist. It does almost everything its more expensive counterparts can but with less depth and objectively less quality built into it. Word of advice: treat this like you would an expensive piece of hardware because if you can’t take care of this, you are ill advised to purchase anything more complex (like the HTC Vive, God forbid).
